    Fluidigm has an immediate need for a Senior Manager Customer Service and Sales Support to lead Fluidigm's Order Management and Sales Support  function.

    Position Summary:



    In addition to managing and guiding the daily activities of Sales Administrators, the Sr. Manager Customer Service and Sales Support performs functions related to the order administration process including, but not limited to; quoting products, booking sales orders, reviewing and coordinating bids/agreements, working with Legal and Finance departments, Product Managers, customers and sales representatives, maintaining data in the corporate CRM and ERP systems. Further responsibilities include analyzing existing processes as well as proposing and driving process improvements.


    The successful candidate will be a hands-on Manager highly reliable, detail oriented, organized, articulate, analytical, proactive, with outstanding interpersonal skills and professionalism.



    Communication skills are essential as this position has a high degree of interaction with customers, employees, sales professionals, other departments and groups.


    Core Job Responsibilities:


    • Manage and perform day-to-day sales administration activities, including the quoting and booking of sales orders and communicating with customers and sales representatives.
    • Supervise, mentor, guide, and cross train Sales/Order Administration personnel. Address and solve issues in a professional manner while fostering a friendly and efficient team environment as well as a culture of supporting each other.
    • Assess scalability of current processes, propose and implement process changes to support ongoing increases in order volume and cross-departmental efficiencies.
    • Develop methodologies to measure, track, and improve order entry accuracy rates. Implement checking mechanisms to ensure reliability and accountability. Ensure order entry targets are consistently met.
    • Work with Legal department in coordinating the completion and approval of customer bid/contract documentation.
    • Align the global order administration processes taking into account the needs and unique aspects of  the Fluidigm international entities.
    • Coordinate and perform product pricing uploads during new product releases and periodic price book changes.
    • Manage and own the customer master file cleanup effort in the MS-Dynamics AX ERP system.
    • Participate in various core team projects as required
    • Implement departmental KPI’s and other metrics




    BA/BS  Degree

    5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in a relevant business setting as part of a Sales Administration/Customer Service group.


    Highly motivated team player with excellent organizational and documentation skills.



    Strong customer service skills with focus on delighting customers. Ability to lead and motivate direct reports.

    Superior interpersonal skills. Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
