    We have a challenging and rewarding position for a Compensation Analyst to join our team in our beautiful South San Francisco location.

     

    Fluidigm has made significant investments in the Total Rewards function and this role will work on a small team  to create and deliver competitive compensation programs on a global scale.  This is a wonderful opportunity to work as a change agent as we implement global programs and introduce new tools and resources to the organization.     YOU WILL

    As an experienced compensation professional, you will support the development, implementation and administration of our global compensation programs. This role will also analyze and evaluate workforce metrics to create compelling stories with data, motivate action and bring about change.  As a trusted compensation partner, you will also work with leadership and the HR team to support talent acquisition and employee compensation decisions.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Conduct analysis and make compensation offer recommendations for open jobs in partnership with managers, recruiting team and HR Business Partners. Make recommendations for salary adjustments and promotions as needed
    • Develop a portfolio of workforce analytics reports that tie to strategic goals and HR initiatives
    • Support annual focal review and planning process
    • Lead the annual compensation survey submission process
    • Assist with the development and rollout of communication plans for compensation programs
    • Perform ad-hoc market research, competitive analysis and benchmarking studies to support business needs as assigned

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in broad based compensation programs, preferably with global experience
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Experience with Workday HCM
    • Keen attention to detail is required
    • Impeccable ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and keep it secure
    • Ability to multi-task and maintain organized work processes, management of several activities and files simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
